You know what good leaders do. ‍So why doesn't it feel like you?

I coach leaders who are stepping up and quietly wondering, “Am I ready?”

Sound familiar?

You got the bigger role. You still feel like an individual contributor in a nicer chair.

With your boss, you fold. With your team, you struggle to give constructive feedback

You’ve done the training. You have role models. You know what good leaders do. You’re searching for the leader you want to be, and the voice to carry it.

Take a deep breath.

This is a stage, and you’re meant to move through it. A coach helps you walk it as yourself.

Built, not borrowed

Most leadership development works from the outside-in.
Here’s the model. Now fit in.

That’s how good people end up conforming and marching, and leaving the best parts of themselves at the door.

I work the other way. You name who you want to be. Then we take it into the rooms that matter and see what holds.

How we work: The Forge

The leader you’re becoming is forged in the heat of real moments.

  • 1. Set the Shape

Who is the leader you want to be? Which of your core values support this?

  • 2. Bring the Heat

Bring something real from your recent experience.

  • 3. Pull Back to the Shape

Hold what happened up against your values-who you want to be.

  • 4. Name What Held and What Bent

How did you show up when it counted? What part of you caved? We say it plainly.

  • 5. Back into the Fire

Take what you learned into next week’s meeting. Run it again. One round tells you something. Twenty rounds tell you who you are.

Hi, I’m Catherine

I’m a leadership and communications coach. I help leaders discover who they want to be and how they want to lead. Together we find the voice that will carry them into any room.

I know what it feels like to have the words stuck inside. For years I froze in meetings, or took the CEO on a scenic detour through the weeds. What finally changed it was the story I carried about myself.

That’s what I believe: leadership and communication are built from the inside out. The way you speak grows from the story you tell yourself, your values, your beliefs, and the places that first taught you when to speak up and when to stay quiet.

When you change the story you carry, you change the way you speak. Your thinking gets clearer, your presence steadier, and people follow you. For me, speaking went from something I dreaded to something I delight in.

Pure joy, and a little magic. I want that for you.

Where to start

Start with your values

This is the ground you lead from. Identify your top 5 and together we’ll talk about it.

1:1 Coaching

We build it together: eight to twelve sessions shaped around who you want to be and how you’ll walk it. Inside out, in real time.

Group Coaching

Eight sessions with other emerging leaders. Proof you’re not the only one.

Your leadership, your beat.
Decide who you want to be. Walk in.
Notice who showed up. Work the gap, and go again.
That’s how you grow into a confident leader with a voice people want to follow.
